Innovations for Gospel Impact (IGI) is a faith-based non-profit specifically geared to find, fuel, and fund gospel proclaiming ministries. They wholeheartedly invest in local leaders and work with their ministry teams to innovate and scale their work in the world.

IGI supports ministries across the world of varying sizes and situations, and wanted to provide additional support for to:

  1. Help ministries improve their ability to measure their impact

  2. Help ministries improve their impact

  3. Enable IGI to increase its impact on these ministries

We began with in-depth qualitative research with women Stonecroft saw as exemplars in sharing Jesus effectively. From this we mapped a theory of change defining both the beliefs, practices and experiences of women who share Jesus effectively, and how these women are formed.

We then developed a new reflective assessment tool that assessed these beliefs, practices and experiences in women involved in Stonecroft.

Finally, we used this new tool for the first time with 350 women involved in Stonecroft, and used detailed statistical analysis to identify:

  1. Which specific beliefs, practices and experiences were most related to sharing Jesus effectively

  2. Which were most formative for being able to share Jesus effectively

  3. Which Stonecroft activities were driving the most change
