CCX: Research on Spiritual Growth
The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) is the leading centre for church multiplication in the UK. As part of their desire to plant, grow, and pioneer new churches, they needed to understand how young adults grew spiritually.
Eido helped CCX survey and interview 18- to 35-year-olds using the critical incident technique: respondents were asked to tell a story of a time they had grown spiritually, and then reflect on what had caused, obstructed, and sustained that growth. We also interviewed church leaders working with 18- to 35-year-olds to triangulate young adults’ responses and conducted a literature review on common pathways to spiritual growth.
As CCX reflected, “Eido were brilliant at understanding what we needed help with and guided us to a thoughtful research approach that above all generated compelling and important insights”. You can read the full report here.
